Hey,
Trades didn't work out so I bought a D10 Fessy and now need to sell this guy. $1500 + shipping.
1998 S10, E9 Emmons setup, 3 pedals, 5 knees, with a Bill Lawrence 710. Everything works great. I was really lucky to get this and have loved every minute of it.
Let me know what you think...
Thanks.

Here's what I think.
That axe looks easy to work on. Keep it, and change the RODS around. Use could even use a set of E9th strings ! (for starters)
Make E9h Pedals A,B,+C, the same as C6th 5,6,&7.
Then use the RkL,(strings 4&8 raise) to be Pedal 4.
You can then use the RkR, (or others) to emulate Pedal 8.
Use remeaining KL's to suit your copedant. (3rd string lower, etc.)This leaves you with 3 KL's to experiment with, while most Standard C6 have only 1.
Finally, put on a set of "light" C6 strings, adjust the tuning nuts, and you're ready to explore.
If it suits you, THEN sell, and get a D10. If not, you can always return it to it's E9th state.
I've done it, and so can anyone, with a little bit of planning, and knuckle bustin'
Good luck, whatever you decide
Rick

Thanks Rick, that's great advice. I still need an E9 setup for the band right now but that's great information to have in case I want do to something like that in the future.
@ Brad - no looking to sell it outright yet as I'm still *entertaining* D-10 offers but I'll let you know if that changes. |

I've been looking to scale down. I have a 1972 Sho-Bud Professional that has been refurburbished by John Coop and his parts, including all new knee levers and the mechanics. It has 8 pedals and 5 knees, Emmons set up. It's in excellent shape, but I'm not sure how the relative values of the guitars would be figured out. You would also have to decide if a Sho-Bud is right for you. Either way, I'll be putting it on the market very soon, because I'm looking for a light weight single neck E9. P.S. How much does the Fessy weigh? _________________ Zum Encore, Zum Stage One, Fender 2000, Harlan Bros., Multi-Kord, |

Ben, I am a Fessenden Dealer. I do not have a used D10 at this time. Were you considering trading for a new one? If so, I could come up with that. |

Bump for selling price. Didn't end up trading this and bought Bill's D10 Fessy so off mine goes. |
