| Another great meeting. Great crowd and great pickin'.The players: Jody Sanders-D10 Pedalmaster,Bobby Bowman-D10 Emmons, Mark Everson-D10 Emmons,Featured Player Dale Thomas-D10 Rains, Randy "Flash" Boyd- D10 Mullen, Roger Edgington-D10 Zum. Musicians : Guitar- Jim Saunders, Fiddle-Mark Everson, Bass-Billy Phelps,Harmonica-Flash Boyd, Drums-Igor. Vocalist-Larry Schoppe. It was so nice to have Dale and his lovely bride at the show again. Dale's playing was right on. Especially on the tune "Jelly Roll". And Roger and his lovely bride showing up was icing on the cake. Thanks to Gale and Barb for the treats. Toni, your cake was good. If anyone else brought treats, thanks. Thanks to Patty for keeping the coffee pot going. Thanks to everyone that attended. No meeting in March due to the TSGA Show in Dallas. See you there. Jody. Hey, give me a shout sometime! I would love to come down from Abilene, and pick with ya'll! I've got a couple of aunts & uncles there that I could stay with.

Sounds like a great meeting and sorry I missed it. I was under the weather due to all the cold and work. Will see ya'll in Dallas. I sure hope Roger get a spot on the main stage this year he is an really great player and a super guy also. Sorry I had to miss this guys.

The above pictures are from the SE Texas Steel Guitar Meeting. Billy Phelps and Jim Saunders on bass and guitar. Larry Schope got up and sang. What a good job Larry. I had a great time. Dale Thomas came to San Antonio today and we got together and swapped licks.
John, Your welcome. Not sure if I'll make it to Dallas. We're playing in Lagrange at the Cowboy Gathering. I'm going to try to make Thursday and Friday. |

Thanks for the pics, Roger and Judy! I had a blast playing, listening, and visiting with everyone. It just went by too fast. Can't wait 'til Dallas....
