This Friday, 2/4 Gene and the band will be in Avon Park, Fla. at The So. Fla. Comm. College. And Sat. 2/5 in Wiersdale, Fla. at The Orange Blossom Opry. For further details check out www.genewatsonmusic.com or www.gene-watson.com. Would love to see some steel players and other musicians out to see our shows.

Johnny, if you are still in the area Monday evening, I'm working a job in Oxford, which is about 15 minutes from Weirsdale (the west end of th The Villages). And, Tuesday we have a daytime jam at Catfish Johnny's Restaurant in Lake Panasoffkee, about 30 minutes from Weirsdale. Gene has been to Catfish Johnny's. And, Wednesday night is the Florida Steel Guitar club jam at Catfish Johnny's.

I look for Scotty, Donna Darlene, the Calhouns and maybe Owsley either Tuesday or Wednesday and maybe both.

Jack, we are leaving right after the show Saturday night. But come on out, I'd love to see you. It's been too long.

Johnny:
Best of luck on the gig with Gene. It ought to be great with a super player like you and fantastic singer like him. Just don't let him catch you on the C6th neck... he never cared for it much for some reason... ha, ha !! Something soured him to it in his past before I ever went to work for him in the 70s I guess.

Hope you're well man.
