i have absolutely no business doing this, but i just miss playing a shobud and would like to get back to one. this is a near perfect sierra, i purchased from the widow of the original owner; and it set unplayed in his barn for a number of years. the only sign of use in on the c6th fret board. i don't think he played the e9th much at all. mechanically, it's about as close to new as you can get. overall, it's a 9.5 out of 10. i added the vertical knee lever. standard emmons set up all the way around. i didn't take very good picks, and will try and get some better ones. all chrome shines like new. case is as new as well. i would like to $1,600 plus shipping in the lower 48. thanks for looking and God bless. 8 & 5..2 knees work on the c6th.

folks, i forgot to mention, the pedals and knee levers are very smooth and solid. this horn stays in tune extremely well and, as of yet, i have not broke one string. the red / white combo looks very good under the lights!

thanks david and dwight. she is rock solid. most quiet pedals i ever put a foot to! the original owner(who has now passed, God rest his soul) told me he played mostly as a stand up / non pedal style. so the mechanics are as new as you will find. i'm open to offers as well.

okay, I'm interested in it, I'm zip 95060, any idea what shipping and ins. would be?
I don't know how anyone buys a steel, because there is no place I know of where I can go and try one out to hear/feel the differences. I lean towards this one because I already have a Sierra, and I love it. But I have the George L pickups, wonder how different it would sound. Also, and don't get mad, but how do I know that this isn't some scam or rip-off? I don't know you or you me. How are we protected?

hey aaron! I don't blame folks for being alert about scams the way things are in this day and time, but let myself and many other folks who knows baxter say hey no problem, he will do what he agrees to.

I was wondering if you could get a better pic of the changer, it looks like there's couple of different kinds of tuning nuts?

yes gary there are. i added some off the more 'modern' pulls as well as a vertical knee lever. the only difference is the factory sierra pull rods had the brass tips. everything functions 100% on this guitar. i did not do a very good job of taking pics..i will try and put up a better shoot of the changer.

i have uploaded a couple of pics of the changer end. i have added a vertical knee lever. pedals are standard emmons. knee levers are: LKL; raises 4 & 8. LKR; lowers 4 & 8. Vertical lowers 5 & 10. RKR raises 1 a whole tone & lowers 6 a whole tone. RKR has a double stop on 2 and lowers 9 a 1/2 tone.
thanks
