This has got to be Mike Sweeney's best work yet when it comes to Pedal Steel Guitar. The name of his new CD is "Heart Of Steel" and comes with some really great C6th as well as some E9th that will really impress you. This album was co-produced with Randy Beavers who you all know has a special ear when finding just the right sound. The new Album will debute on March the 28th in the Steel Guitar Chat Room. To learn more about that night and the party that follows please look on "Steel On The Web" here on the Steel Guitar Forum. If a great CD is what you are looking for you just can't miss this one. Tracks will also be available. Here is Mike's web site. http://www.freewebs.com/steelguitarmusic/
I just can't say how great this cd is.

I got to enjoy hearing a couple songs of this CD prior to it's release, and if the songs I heard are any indication of the rest of the CD you will be blown away, I was. It will leave you wanting more.

I was in Nashville a few weeks ago and went with Mike to the studio and heard a rough mix of the tracks and they sounded great. I can't wait to hear the finished CD.

I believe this CD will cause people to really take notice of Mike's playing. The players here in Nashville already know good Mike is. I had the pleasure of recording Mike's steel parts here at the house in my little studio. I think we got a sound on him as good as any of the "big" studios could have. I know you'll enjoy hearing this project time and time again. The selection of material is great along with his playing.

I just wanted to take a minute to thank all of you who were in the room last night. There was lots of feedback, fellowship and fun. I had a great time. I hope all of you who ordered the CD will enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed recording it. Thanks again!
