I think the first clip is from the wilburn Brothers show.
I doubt if the steel player was Hal Rugg, was it Chalker?

My guess is Chalker if it was the Wilburn Bros show. Did Curly even use an E9 tuning, or if he did, was it a standard tuning? It doesn't sound like standard E9 to me... but then, what do I know?

That was Hal Rugg on the first clip.

I think I heard every Wilburn Brothers show they played on the perfect 36 in San Jose. I don't need to see the steel player, that was Hal.

Early sho bud, doesn anybody know if he used a permanent or a finger tip?
