Does anyone know an owner of a Telonics volume pedal that lives in the area of Kingston, New York? I have a friend who would like to see if the pedal would enhance his sound when included in a line of effects devices he uses. Thanks, ...Tom

Thanks CrowBear, but my friend is looking for someone who lives close to him so he can try out the Telonics pedal with his personal gear. The dealer you mention is hundreds of miles away from my friend's residence near Kingston, NY. ...Tom

Point of information and FWIW - Kingston, NY (a bit north of Poughkeepsie) is about an hour and a half from Wilton, CT - about 75 miles and a pretty straightforward drive.

Thanks for the correction Dave. It shows you what I know about reading maps of eastern States. My friend, packing all his gear to set up again 75 miles away, is doable, but if someone could be located nearer to him it would be much easier to check out the pedal and maybe not have to take all his gear. ...Tom

I live in Woodstock , NY about 10 miles from Kingston. If I can be of any help to your friend, I would enjoy meeting him. Having him contact John Widgren is a fine suggestion. I don't know of anyone closer or more helpful than John.

I'll PM my contact info to you.

Tom, I don't think I ever thanked you for help finding some parts for an old MSA I was fixing up for an ailing steel player that has since passed away. I asked you about getting some pedal return springs and you sent them right out to me. I'll go into more detail in the PM, but I wanted to thank you, and say what an inspiration you've been to me since I started playing steel around 1970.

Hi Tom,

If your Client can make it this way, He (She) can demo my unit and then order one from you, or just take one from my inventory and I'll replace it with one that I'll get from you (so you don't lose the sale).

Happy to help in any way.

John Widgren
