For sale is a Jackson Black S10 3x4. E9 Emmons setup. Triple raise, single lower all pull changer. Approximately 25 pounds out of case and 35-40 in case. Well maintained. Includes Thomas case. See below for details.

$1500 (plus paypal fee) Shipped to continental US. Paypal preferred

I purchased this guitar about a year ago from another forum member. It is nearly two years old; as you can see from the pictures, this one was built in March,2009 The only reason I am selling it is that I really just play a U12 at this point.

This S10 plays beautifully and stays in tune really well, and has lovely tone. Currently, it is setup with a sort of "universal 10 string" copedent (picture a U12 without the low B and low E), but I'd be happy to change it back to a standard S10 Emmons setup, which is how it was originally.

Guitar does not currently have an LKV, and there is not half stop on the RKR. I have spoken to the nice people at Jackson about adding both of these features to this guitar, and they said it was completely doable. If you are interested in this guitar but would like those features added, please let me know, and we can discuss how to go about it.

The guitar has been well maintained, being lubricated every few months with Tri-Flo (silicone-based lubricant).

Includes beautiful Thomas case.
May be interested in a trade for the right U12, but would prefer to simply sell the guitar.

.
Take care

--Mike

I'm really surprised this hasn't sold yet, with this price. These guitars are very well crafted and sound amazing.

This guitar was originally built for me. Nice to see it again. I got David to put the bar holder on the top because I saw the feature on the Commemorative and thought it was very useful. Wink

This was the first Blackjack with a pad ever made. It has incredible tone. It came from discussions I had with David and Harry in Dallas at the convention about loving the Blackjack tone but wanting that extra body. And that price is a steal. I would buy it back if I were flush. I ended up with a Pro VI in the end because I wanted a lacquer Jackson so much. Otherwise, I would have kept it.

Good luck with the sale!

Thanks so much for that info Chris. I didn't know that this guitar had such unique history associated with it. That's what I love about this forum!
