My guess is Chalker if it was the Wilburn Bros show. Did Curly even use an E9 tuning, or if he did, was it a standard tuning? It doesn't sound like standard E9 to me... but then, what do I know?

That was Hal Rugg on the first clip.
I think I heard every Wilburn Brothers show they played on the perfect 36 in San Jose. I don't need to see the steel player, that was Hal.
Early sho bud, doesn anybody know if he used a permanent or a finger tip? |
