For the E9th tuning, could anyone offer suggestions as to why my early 1990s Mullen 6th string full tune drop returns flat? When I engage the B pedal that raises that same string though, it returns to the correct pitch. I will admit I've not changed strings in quite a while. Thanks, stevet

Try tightening the lower return spring 1 full turn. Check for binding.
