my son is coming home for a couple of days on his way to his new base in san diego
it has been 2 years and 2 months since we last saw him. he is in the navy specail forces and has served in iraq then hurricane kattrina as well as been in many other countrys, now if i can just get out of my habit of calling him kid, cause i don't think that fits him anymore
anyway he will be here on march 11th

Good for you and your family Calvin. I've had two sons to come back from Iraq and was so glad for their safety. Tell your Son "Thanks" for what he's doing for our country and we're proud of him to. Ray

How well I know what you are feeling Calvin. My son was in a Sargent in the Marines during the Gulf War, and was in the for-front of the invasion forces (communications team in a LAV).... and in July my grandson will report to MCRD (USMC boot camp) in San Diego.. here we go again.

Please pass along to your son my thanks for his service to our country.
