Came across this site the other day, since it has the option of making fretboard charts for "8-string lute" it also works great for 8-string lap steel:

Got pretty much the same functions as "The Chord House" but with the added option of choosing an 8-string neck.
Here's a small version of an image I made for my 'dream' E13 tuning,- zoomed in on the chart in my browser, took a screen shot, imported to Photoshop and made the final image there, coupling the notes and intervals images and added the position markers:



You can of course choose specific scales and chords if you prefer that, just as in The Chord House.

I find that chordAlchemy is one of the best chord/scale finders and easily printed out.



Number of strings and tunings can be set anyway you want and the resulting diagram is a jpeg. You may also select notes or intervals.

Very nice, Steinar - this is one of the more logical sites of its type out there, and the resulting printouts are very clear.
