I use a Hilton in my "A" rig. I'm considering replacing some scatchy pots in my home and jam rig. I bought some Claristats, but they were scratch right out of the shute. Are the Canada pots good?

Just buy the best pots money can buy at $25 or so a pop with conductive plastic tracks instead of carbon. The Dunlop HotPotz is an example of one of these.

The last Canadian pot I investigated was rated by the seller as being good for millions of cycles. The manufacturer of this pot rated it for only 25,000 cycles. A steel guitar volume pedal is a very harsh environment for a pot considering the number of cycles it gets in just a few short years.

I agree about the Dunlop HotPotz. I use them in all of my pedals when an original A&B wears out. Excellent performance.
