Beautiful break & backup playing by Weldon Myrick. Everyone sure dressed well back then ... beats T-shirts with no sleeves & torn jeans. Maybe I'm a little old fashioned? Laughing

I agree it is refreshing to see wonderful C/W talent dressed right and singing traditional C/W music the way it should be done. The garbage coming out Nashville today is atrocious. Their dress is equally atrocious as well.

Thank God we have class acts like Ray Price and Mel Tillis singing for the public today, they are true professionals in every respect.

These Nashville Idiot Producers don't have a clue on what is going on and will not promote traditional C/W music. Well some day the lights will be turned out in Nashville.

Guess I'll never outgrow the "NUDI SUIT" dress,,to me that was a part of the show,,,,does anyone remember back in the early fifties an artist named "Tippy Edwards"?,,now that boy could dress,I met him at "The Jimmy Rogers Festival " In Meridian Miss. in the early fifties,,seems to me ( I could be wrong )he was on "The La. Hayride"at that time...

Interesting key. I'm guessing it's not often a banjo player gets to play a song in D#.

Beautiful song. I love her voice.

That steel player wasn't too bad either. Looks like he's done it a few times before. Winking
