Hi Steel players hope you had a Merry Christmas.
Are there any Store's/shops/caves In San Antonio,Tx
that cater to steel guitar players.
I'll be visiting there in a couple days and could not
find anything on the net. AND THAT ANT RIGHT....

I have talked to several people about trying to get one started in Austin, but it would require a 2nd business to support it.
Possibly some benefactor that has space or a building to donate.
Any one looking for a business manager with a Pedal Steel shop in the back ?? Give me a buzz.
The only other one I know of would be the music store where Denny Mathis teaches steel guitar in San Antonio.
Email Dave Goodman, Randy Gilliam or any of the S.A. steelers and they will probably tell you I can't remember the name of the place.

Don Pack's Dellview Music is still in business but has traditionally been closed during the Christmas to New Year's peroid.

I was, in the last year, looking at several places in San Antonio, and the only place that I even found any steels was Sam Ash Music (Loop 410). They only had two steels, a Carter Starter and a Legend. I was interested in neither.

Don and Gayle Pack are wonderful folks.
I took quite a few E9 lessons there from Denny Mathis.
I plan on resuming lessons there on the C6 neck soon!
