A unique style for the Pedal Steel, especially
the E9th Standard Tuning.
I combine Atkins/Travis style with traditional semi-
speed licks, slides and riffs. A one pass deal!
Interesting to note that the thumb pickin even
during the slides.. continues and is in direct
"zinc" with the fingerpicking. It all just follows the Bar.
Seasons Greetings to all and hope this is of interest as to the potential of Pedal Steel Guitar.

Roy I like it! If you hadn't told me you were doing the "Tic-Tac" on the lower strings I would have thought it was a "tele" playing rhythm.I like your tone also, slight bit of delay?
What brand of steel is it?
If this is an original why don't you submit it for the forum CD? You have some nice licks there.Nicely different!

Dana, my steel is a Carter which I have owned since
1997. This particular composition is an original
and I could have submitted it for the Forum CD
but chose another instrumental on Non Pedal Lap Steel. I play Fingerstyle on my Country Gent so
just transfer the technique to Steel and enjoy doing
so. Your comments are much appreciated.
Thank you Doug and all the best for the Holidays
and the New Year.
