I noticed Sara is coming to the Cumming Fair here in October. Does she have a steel player or is she doing a bluegrass thing now?

Sara don't have steel in her band, but in 2004 and 2005 different steel players played for her on the CMA Awards-in 2004, Gary Morse played steel for her on "Suds in The Bucket" and in 2005, Randle Currie was on the same show, playing steel for her on her song "Cheatin'".

One of Sara Evan's guitar players told me that when they tour, the steel parts are on pre-recorded tracks. Only one word for that---CHEAP.

There is not much point for a Steel Player to go see an artist that dont care enough about steel to have one.

Don't sell yourself short and dont wait for her to ask you. Go to her road mgr. and tell him you are available and would like for a short audition. He may say yes.

Really?? They used canned steel guitar on the live show? They must do the same show the same way every time.

Does the steel player still get paid? Rolling Eyes

our lead singer ( Southern Bend) is related to her (his brother is married to her sister),she told us that they use loops for the steel parts, but that was for the shows they were doing last year
