Hi all

I'm looking for a (used) pedal steel guitar, entry level (because low budget), 10 strings will be sufficients.

I'm from Italy, so I look for a most near dealer in Europe to minimize (shipping) costs.

thanks
giorgio

hi all

Two questions:

1) how many pedal / levers thw WBS student has ?
The photo do not show any pedal; isn'it ?

2) how "much" the WBS Student is, technically better than a Carter Starter ? I ask because many people talk about the Carter Starter as a very bad instrument; also in comparison with the WBS student;
it's that really true ? personally I just feel the WBS "ugly" but the important thing is the functionallity of course .. pheraps the Carter have intonation / sound stability problems ? the pick-up ?

BTW, any furthere suggestion is welcome

thanks
giorgio

the wbs has 3 pedals & 4 levers
the set up (copedent) can be modified which is not the case of many student models
to be honest giorgio, after having sold about 5 carter starters new & used, i decided not to sell anymore considering their shortcomings (i'm being polite)

I have a Carter Starter, with case, for 575 eur + freight. Sono di Udine.

Nice pedal action, not so good the levers...
Nice tone, and stays in tune.

Ciao
Matteo
