I sold most of my other amps after I purchased my TC12"CB last year. They are outstanding, light weight amps that can blow the walls down!
Im saving up to buy another _________________ steelguitarguy.com |

What an amazing amp. One is so good I've hesitated buying another one. I imagine its like electronic heroin once you try two. Be afraid, be very afraid!

Just carried my CB 12 Split and Rack out to load to go play tonite, and every time I handle that powerful little 29 lb. monster, I just grin from ear to ear.Very easy to handle and this rascal will play anywhere you want with the fullest, cleanest delivery of sound.
Sure, they ain't cheap , but they ain't made cheap, and to me, they are worth the price. Just my opinion--Jack _________________ Zum D10 8x5,rev pre-amp, TC M300, Split 12, n-112, IZZY, Hilton vp, Geo L, BJS Hughey, Live Steel |

They are Light weight , Plenty of Horsepower, and sound Fantastic, Price is Pretty Reasonable For What you Get, and also T. C. Put a lot Of Testing to Develop The Perfect Steel or Fiddle amp! |

I had two.. I now regret getting rid of the 2nd. One is amazing - two were astounding. I'll have to get another!

Randy would you and perhaps other post photos of your rig setup?
I’d like to see where you prefer to place the cabs along with where you place your preamp and effects.

I think folks know how I feel about these little wonders. However, you should hear some of the comments I get from soundmen and backline crews around the country. Just about every show I get asked questions and hear positive comments on them.
On one show an eager backline crew member was rolling up cords, gathering mic's and such. He lost his balance and was grabbing at thin air to try to keep from falling off the back of the stage. The only thing he could get ahold of was one of my CB-12 cabinets. It took a 7 foot fall off the back of the stage and hit a concrete railing. It put a small dent in the top that's hardly noticeable, but it still works perfectly! If it had been heavier like a regular amp, It probably would have come apart at the seams. The backline crew member? Well... he didn't fare so well. |

Maybe I missed it somewhere, but couldn't find anything in a search. What kind of speaker is in the Furlong CB 12? I think I read somewhere that it is a neo mag, but what is the design and mfg? Thanks. JO. |

The speaker in the CB12 is custom made to TC's specifications. He spent a great deal of time researching and testing in order to develop just the right speaker for steel guitar. The cabinets wow me every time I play through them. |

TC told me that the joints are cut only one board at a time in a very precise machine. So close in fact that they almost don't need any gluing, although they are glued. |

Yeah, I had been to the site some time ago and read the specs on the speaker. There is no mention of who the maker is. It's just a curious gearhead question. |

I have had a look at the speaker in one of my cabs and there are no identification markings at all. I have asked TC who is the manufacturer but he wont let on. I do know they are Italian made. |

It would not surprise me to find they are made in China.
Being "Made in China" does not carry the negative connotation it used to conjure.
Same with "Made in Japan"..... ie: The long lasting, low maintenance, fuel efficient automobiles.
And I am telling! |

[italics mine]
I take Ivan's word for it. I don't think he'd make it up.
Anyhow, it's not important. Just curiosity on my part.
All the users seem really happy with TC's products and that's the main thing. |

Since starting on pedal steel I have had about ten amps. Some were good and some were better.
The T.C.SPLIT 12 tops them all.
If I ever get another amp it will be a T.C SPLIT.
