There are many people who strive to keep
the Travis/Atkins solo style of guitar playing
alive. It's like Bluegrass Music in the way that
you have to seek it out. With the Internet that's
not hard to do thank goodness. Do a search and
we find it is very much alive.
I love the style so much I made it goal
of mine to learn it on Steel Guitar after
I got some tunes down on my 6 string standard
guitar. It does work and even on pedal steel E9th tuning.

My first tunes that I loved so much by Chet
were Windy and Warm and this one that I do
here ....Freight Train.

Wow- Scottish, Chinese, now Chet Atkins. I can't wait for your next project. Orchestra? Rockabilly? You are tearing those mental barriers down, that's really cool.
