Hi, I was hoping to get a little input from someone who's done this before. Maybe some general advice about writing a tech rider or what to expect from a sound company.
It's for a trip to Germany/Switz/Netherlands next september. I figure I'll probably only bring my steel, a dobro, and a couple of pedals. So far, the only things I plan to request are an adjustable seat (drum throne or keyboard seat), and an amp. I'm worried about getting stuck with a crappy amp especially sincxe we're recording over there too.
Should I request a certain kind of power tranformer for my pedals? I used a loop station and holy grail reverb once before when playing six string in scotland and all I had was the traveler style power adapter. It held out but it got really hot. I'll probably want to bring my electronic goodrich pedal and a delay and reverb.
I guess it would be best to get in direct contact with the sound company but that is proving to be difficult and our manager is really putting the pressure on me for the list. |
