I do know that Don Fritsche knew him & were close friends.
I Was wondering if anyone else knew him & if there may be any recordings/info around of him.
I was curious about him, cuz I have recently gotten Bob's Custom Made BMI SD-12 (Made by Don Fritsche).
It's a push/pull, maple with transparent purple lacquer, 7 & 6 (2 verticals).
Cool guitar. Came with a pic of Bob playing it.

I knew a Bob Hilton who lived in Kensett, AR and he had a BMI. He passed away a few months ago. I lived near him from 1969 - 1972. We used to jam together! This may not be the Bob Hilton you're looking for!! He was a personal friend of Zane Beck.

I was hoping to find some recordings of him playing.
