Yeah David, I would not attempt to play this song without at least a Franklin pedal. |

Barry, I don't mind Crazy[Love to play the tune] I said Reba because several years ago when she was REAL hot,I was playing in a band that had to back up the finals in the Wranger talent show. Most of the female singers choose Reba songs. NONE of them could do the tunes justice.Would have been better if they HAD choose to do Crazy. Anytime I ask the girl singer what key her song is in and she says " it goes like this" I know I am not going to like it. |

Or when the guitar player strums every chord he knows,She says [that's it] Then she still sings a half-tone flat. Oh well YOU BETCHA,DYK?BC. _________________ Hard headed, opinionated old geezer. BAMA CHARLIE. GOD BLESS AMERICA. ANIMAL RIGHTS ACTIVIST. SUPPORT LIVE MUSIC ! |

"Crazy" makes me want to puke every time I have to play that piece of crap. I could never see how Patsy Cline ever made it. Go ahead and flame my butt. Compare Patsy to someone like Tammy Wynette, and there is no contest. Just my meaningless opinion. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . For a while it was "Redneck Woman". I never heard any female singer besides Gretchen Wilson who could sing it. _________________ 1980 Emmons PP D10, Hilton Pedal, Peavey Session 500 & Nashville 112 |

What usually happens is they want to get up and sing, then become irritated if you don't know every Wynonna or Reba song. When you do settle on one, they can't get within 50 yards of the pitch. _________________ LeGrande II, Nash. 112, Fender Twin Tone Master, Session 400, Harlow Dobro, R.Q.Jones Dobro |

My wife and I have our own little band "The Long & Short of It" and I'm happy to say that we do "Stand By Your Man", "Crazy", "Walkin' After Midnight", Redneck Woman", "You Ain't Woman Enough to take My Man" and a bunch of other "Chick" songs. I must be sick as I love to play 'em and have more or less always played in bands with female vocalists. They're usually a lot better on the eyes than you ugly old pharts..........JH in Va. _________________ Don't matter who's in Austin (or anywhere else) Ralph Mooney is still the king!!! |

Satin Sheets is pretty high on my list.
How do you know if a girl singer is at the door? She can't find her key and doesn't know when to come in. |

That's funny Alan..
I also like playing the girl singer tunes, it's a change of pace.. I did a Colgate Country Showdown regional (thanks Mom, for the music lessons) almost every girl sang Martina's "Broken Wing" ( or tried to)
I only had to learn 2 intros .. that one and Shameless |

How do you know when a baby girl is going to grow up to be a singer?
When her first words are, "I can't hear myself".
The song I got tired of was Blue Bayou. I don't know about the guys.... |

One night I was singing at a Moose Lodge and a guy in the front row kept yelling "Blue Bayou, Blue Bayou".
I said, "Blue Bayou?"
He said "Yes".
I said, Blew by me, too!". |
