2 questions: Are 4 holes enough for mounting a 15" BW and is 1/2" plywood enough thickness for the baffle board. Thanks, - DJ -

I would use all the mounting holes. 1/2" may work but you are better off using 3/4". The actual board and mountings are not where you want to economize.

To expand upon Jack Stoner's post.

If you use all of the mounting holes and torque the nuts approximately the same then you greatly reduce the risk of distorting the basket.

Use CABINET GRADE birch plywood or equivalent - NOT 3/4" tongue and groove sub-flooring.

Like the man says, do it right the first time.
