Not sure of age (maybe someone could help with dating this guitar).
Black with white metal.
Guitar is in excellent condition.
Original case is in good condition.
Tuner keys have been changed however I have the originals and are in good working order.
Number on headstock B8-282

Some quick tips:
Pre-war:
1-1/2" width magnets
small shield logo headstock: Rickenbacher Electro
There will probably be a s/n stamped into end of headstock (letter/up to four numbers)
Strings through body (continues into postwar era also)
Post-war:
Large T-shaped aluminum headstock logo Rickenback(h)er (horizontal) Electro (vertical)
"Ashtray" headstock cover
1-1/4" magnets
Usually no s/n
Tailpiece (I don't think there were tailpieces on pre-war Bakelites)
Other stuff is just more easily determined by looking, so don't dawdle on those pics...
