I just got a N400 in, and saw that it had the 1501-DT 4ohm in it. It is in excellent shape, with the black hardware. I thought the DT was just in the older "chrome corners"

I never realized just how much difference there is between the DT and the SB, but as you can see, the DT really does have a "deep throw"
What is the consensus on the DT?
Opinions welcome.
Thanks,
Curt

The DT reminds me of the EV style with the deep angle on the cone.
I think it sounds better to me than the SB, but what do you guys say?

If it works and does not rub get it, they are a great speaker. They do sound different than a shallow basket but they sound great, Doug Jone and I have used them for years.
