Our dear friend went home to be the Lord at 3:10pm today. His struggles are over and he is in the care of his Savior. His brother just called and the family is in a meeting now to make arrangements.
What a vacuum there is now to the steel family!
Pray for the family as they make this time special remembering the love and talent this man had.
I will keep any information available at the request of the family.
Sincerely, Bob and Carol Strum |

This is such a shock as I have known Rob for many years and he was a friend and I admired his singing too. I was honored to get to play on one of his albums and I am so glad that he sang on both of my sets at the Lexington,KY show a little over a week ago. Our prayers go out to his family.

We are so sad right now. I just can't imagine going to a steel show and not getting my hug from Rob. I am so glad we got to spend some time with him at our show here in Kansas this past Oct.
Below are our last memories of Rob. Austin dedicated his Friday night set to him and wore red socks to play in.....RIP Mr. Rob Parker. We love you!
