I don't know how many of y'all know that Ray Price will be at Silver Springs on Sat. Jan. 14th, as well as Cypress Gardens on the next day.
I'm looking forward to the show, as it will definately be the best that can be had.
I'll be at Silver Springs, Lord willing. Maybe see some of y'all there.

Fred, you sure won't be disappointed. I had the pleasure of seeing Mr. Price this past summer in Nashville, In. Mike Cass was on steel. What a treat to hear Mike, just pure clean licks. |

On his way to FLA. Ray Price will stop off in Lufkin, TX. on Jan 12th for a concert at the Lufkin Civic Center beginning at 7p.m.
I understand he will also be celebrating his 80th birthday at the same time .
He sings better all the time !! I hope I can attend the event --Lufkin is not too far from my home !

At the show in Lufkin, The Chief will be presented with a proclamation from Texas Gov. Rick Perry and President George Bush in honor of his career in country music. An article in the entertainment magazine in the Houston Chronicle today was a story on Ray Price and The Cherokee Cowboys with a vintage picture with Buddy Emmons on steel. Ray will be celebrating his 80th birthday at the show. Jody. |

When ever Ray Price comes to your town, where ever it is, Go see him. He's singin' as good as (if not better than) EVER! My good friend Dale Morris Junior is playing fiddle with him, and another good friend, Mark Abbott plays bass with them most of the time. You'll be glad you caught the show. |

Any of you moldy oldies like me remember seeing Ray on the Carson show in the 60S? He was a regular, and I'd always stay up late to see him. The guy was smooth. I like him as much as Sinatra, Bennett, Cole, etc.

I just learned today that Bobby Flores will be Lufkin and two dates in Florida with "The Chief" that weekend. Just another reason to attend.
