I collect Boogie Woogie Piano 78s, so this one is right up my alley! I played a Jimmy and Speedy cut once for a friend. Speedy's solo was one of those whacka-thwacka-doowhacka deals. My friend said, "What the Hell was that?" I said, "Man! That's Speedy!"

special effects. These effects were primarily drawn from Alvino Rey, Noel Boggs, and Curly Cochran. Speedy expanded them into full rides.
