Dekley S-10, three pedals, four knee levers. It's had a very recent complete setup, including changer cleaning/lube. Plays perfectly, very smooth, stays in tune, haven't broken a string yet. Pro model, with Grover tuners, all-pull (double raise/double lower) mechanism, cross shafts ride in Delrin bushings. Pre-Slimline series, serial 101-0073. Clean, well-designed mechanism, easy to change copedant as desired. I've got it set up 1" higher than stock with pedal rod extenders; a set of 2" extenders comes with it as well. Cosmetically, it's in pretty good shape overall - case has seen better days, but still functional. Original paperwork includes owner's manual, Dekley catalog, full instructions.
This is a reliable, solid PSG with no issues. Asking $950 plus shipping/insurance. I'll also be selling a Goodrich VP and a nearly-new NV112 amp if you crave a package deal.

Wow, That is a really good deal on that guitar.
Very nice guitar, rock solid and very nice.
Wish it were southpaw.

Hi, Lefty - still enjoying the Chandler lap steel you sold me a while back. Sorry this won't work for your needs, but I wouldn't have bought it in the first place if it had been left-handed! |

Welcome, Eric.
If you're going for this Dekley, you are making a very good choice, in my opinion. It will last for many, many, years, and serve you faithfully the whole time.
Good picking! _________________ Best regards,

Thanks Mike!
I'm just starting with pedal steel, though I've been playing guitar and lap steel for many years. I'm looking for an instrument that I can "grow into" rather than starting with a budget/student model that I'd probably sell in a few years. From my research (and browsing the forum has been a BIG help), it seems like Philip's Dekley is the perfect steel for my own needs. Great price too, absolutely.
I'm looking forward to participating in the forum as I start to play and get enough experience to contribute something intelligent to the conversation...
Thanks again and take care,
-e |
