This is a "Harbour Lights" Lap steel made by Harry Sheppard
You'll have to play the whole video to see it, there's also a tricone resonator in there as well..
0:53 - 2:25 - 2:47 for the Harbour Lights guitar
1:34 for the Gold Tricone
and 2:35 for Captain Basil at the helm
It's the title track from the new album by Bob Brolly entitled "Endless Magic" _________________

Very cool Basil, thanks for posting this. Great playing as usual. It is nice to see one of these guitars in such a professional setting.
Just to let you and everyone know that I have finished all pending orders on the lap steels and will NOT be taking any more orders. I am just finishing one last koa guitar to use up the remainder of my parts and will be moving on to other projects I have been neglecting. It was fun to create something another person would actually enjoy playing and getting to see them in action. Thanks to everyone involved. Harry |

That's too bad for the steel world, Harry, you made one of the best steels in the modern age. Here's to hoping you get time to start it up again someday. |

I still think it should be "the pale blue moonlight shining through her dress..." |

It is Bill. She's called the "Five Seas" and is a 40' "Cat" Twin Volvo Penta's, that was her last outing, she's now laid up for the winter. |

I just noticed you're flying the skull and crossedbones.
Isn't that illegal? |

This particular 'Jolly Roger' is flown to identify the ship's crew as pirates..
In this instance the plagiarisation or pirating of another melody for the solo section..
The other flag SHOULD be the 'Courtesy Flag' that is always the visited host nation of the vessel at that point in time.
But as we were heading across the 'Med' the "Red Ensign" was hoisted aloft.
Wouldn't it have been great to have raised this:-
Unfortunately, with full tanks the range is just a smidgeon shy of 1,700 miles.
Nowhere near enough to make flying that flag appropriate.

That would be quite a trip. It would put Francis Chichester to shame... |
