I have a 1980's Korg WT-12 Chromatic Tuner for sale that has been sitting in my desk drawer for 30 years or so. I can't remember when I bought it new. It had batteries in it that were moist but did not corrode the battery compartment or contacts. See pictures. The only corrosion was the foam on the battery compartment door which I cleaned off and put some electricians tape over it.Comes with case but no manual.

Yes, the tuner does work. I have a StroboFlip tuner and that is why I don't need this one. I calibrated the Korg to 440 and when I tune the strings such as string one F# (E9th) the needle is dead on center, the 2 string E flat is well past the center, and the StrobFlip show D# for the second string. The third string is just a hair off.
I think it is just the difference in types of tuners. I have it plugger into a new Hilton low profile pedal with a jack that was modified by Keith Hilton to isolate the tuner. You can have it for 50.00 plus 10.00 shipping. I take paypal. Send me an email if you want it and i will send you my Paypal ID.

I was calibrating it incorrectly and that is why it was off. Thanks to Bill Hatcher for helping me out. I was calibrating it with the dial set on F# instead of A. I re-did it and it works!

I have two offers on the tuner so whoever pays me first gets it. Bill the other guy made his offer first but has not paid me so if you get your payment in first, it is yours.
