I have a Great Neice that is seven years old and she told her Mom she wants a Steel guitar for Christmas and a Lead Guitar. Well hold and behold she is going to get them both for Christmas. She will be getting a Lap Steel. She sat behind my Emmons LaGrande III and that little devil started to do everything I showed her and we went out and let her play around with it awhile and she got the hang of it and what she done was sounding like she would make a Steel player in time.Wish i could have been that lucky.

Way to go, Sam! Get 'em while they're young. Kids learn so much faster than us old folks. She apparently has inherited some of your talent, too. Keep encouraging her, she just may be a child prodigy. Please let us know how she is progressing.

Thanks Dave for your kind words. No I don't think she inherited it from me as I have only been playing for 7 years and have a lot to learn yet.
