Great playing strat, $275 shipped in CONUS
Here is a 1999 MIM Fender Powerhouse Strat. It's a really nice axe in great shape, plays well and stays in tune, even though it has a vintage style Fender vibrato bridge set up with 3 springs for whammy action. It's very well put together and has a good body sound.
the guitar is candy apple red with a vintage pearloid pickguard and what I believe are Fender American Standard pickups (with a dummy coil under the pickguard for hum-free operation), a Delta tone no load tone pot, and 12db mid range boost. Tasteful boost, nice thickening of the tone. It is similar to the Clapton boost, except I think that the Clapton is 25db. I really dig the boost circuit, that and the neck make me wish I could keep it. The body is alder and the neck is rosewood on maple. Comes with non-original HSC.
