Hey Rodney,
The steel guy would be Canada Bob Lucier. The
fiddle guy is Brian Barron who was a huge
inspiration to me as a kid. Thanks for the
video. |

It is amazing to watch the great technique and hear the fine tone coming from Bob already in the 70's. He is truly a master of the steel. _________________ BenRom Pedal Steel Guitars

I can remember as a young teen watching that show a lot and thats when I fell in love with steel guitars.I didn't even know what they were called in those days, just that some day I would have one.Now I know it was Bob Lucier thanks to this thread. _________________ Stage One PSG, Old Deluxe Reverb,Peavey Session 500,Nashville Telecaster, Alvarez Yari DY62 Cedar Top acoustic, Alvarez AJ-60-12 acoustic 12 string, Larivee OM-3 Acoustic, Harmony MOTS lap steel, Magnatone MOTS lap steel, Gibson BR-9 lap steel, Andy Hintons coated picks, Ernie Cawby's amp stand, Sharp Covers Nashville Amp and Guitar covers |

I loved that song and still do.
Brings me back almost 50 years ago when I was a bluegrasser. _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? |

It is hard to imagine Mack with a Pedal steel, piano, and a Telecaster. When I used to see him it was mandolin, banjo, Bull fiddle and martin acoustic.
Sounds good with pedal steel. And George Hamilton sounds good anytime, but he is from North Carolina.
His son Geo.V went to school with my daughter at
UNC. |
