1954 Fender Stringmaster Steel Guitar, 3-neck, 8 string with original case. Good condition, definately an interest item for the steel guitar connoisseur. Asking $1,500 obo. What are the two holes on the front neck's tuner pan for?

If there are extra holes in the tuner pan, chances are someone rigged up pull rods at one time to make it a pedal steel. I understand Shot Jackson even did that to some Stringmasters prior to the Sho~Bud.
