This is my new Weenick Steel with me on board.
It plays and sounds as good as it looks.

Wow...that's great looking! Congratulations...I've seen pics the undercarriages on Weenik steel guitars here on the forum. They always look like they'll last several lifetimes.

Steve
This is the fantastic thing about the tiger striping and the 7 coats of blue color & clear coatings.

It changes with the light angle as it would if it was a true hologram.

The dark stripes will turn light and the light stripes will turn dark and all kinds of shades of blue/green or teal.

This is why Jack's comment "It even looks more impressive in person" is so true.

Martin,
In view of All the Good things that have been said about this Guitar, (All of which I totally agree) I don't know much else to say, except to give you a good old Redneck approval, (Ya Done Yourself Proud!!!)
Don, Congrats, on owning this Beauty. I'm sure that you will get Many Years of Pleasure from it.

Thanks for the nice comments.
The credit goes to Martin for this build.
I had some ideas of what I wanted and put them on paper, but it was the genius of Martin and his craftsmanship that made it happen.

That is beautiful!

One of the nicest customers I ever had was Martin buying covers from me for his steel guitars. He made me raise the price! He appreciated my talent.

I have nothing but praise for this man!
His talent is so evident in the guitars he makes!

The 2 covers you made for me were for this guitar.
They fit perfectly and it was nice doing business with you.

Don, your guitar looks amazing! That finish is incredible. Hope to be able to see it some time and hear you play it. I know you love your Weenick guitar as much as I love mine.

I also have a custom Sharp cover made by Leann. It is awesome and matches my guitar perfectly. And I agree with Leann, you couldn't meet a nicer person or a more amazing craftsman than Martin Weenick!
