Hi folks,
it looks like this one is sold.
Will send donation when the deal is finished.
I am selling this B-bender equipped tele which I got from forum member Roger Rettig. It hasn't seen much use and I am changing my plans regarding this guitar.
It is pretty much in the same condition as I got it.
It has a few nicks and dings which shows a little it's age. Price is Euro 850 shipped within the European Communities. Will ship back to the US at resonable price, too.
Email with questions or for more pics.
Thanks for looking.
Cheers, Manfred

I owned this guitar at one time. It is everything you would like in a Fender Bender.. |

I bought this new in the mid-'90s, and I liked it so much that I spent $450 having Joe Glaser fit me a the b-bender. Later I switched allegiances to my G&L Asat Classic (also fitted with Joe's bender) and, knowing I'd probably never play the Fender again, sold it to Bud.
Later I regretted it and Bud kindly let me have it back. However, shortly afterwards I found the Telecaster Of My Dreams - a Fender Custom Shop Thin Skin '62 reissue. For a while I couldn't get the new guitar to Joe, but eventually he put on his bender for me (or John did, anyway! $600 these days, by the way...) and, once again, this well-travelled MIJ Tele was up for sale. I shipped it to Manfred, and here it is again.
I always enjoyed this red Tele! It has a good biting tone and the bender works smoothly. My only reservation regarding the MIJ (now I have that '62) is the thicker '50s style neck-profile, but I know that many prefer those old necks. I also prefer a rosewood fingerboard, but maple does look good!
Maybe it'll end up in England, eh?
Here's the replacement.....

By the way, Roger can really play that Tele too. He is also a fine flat top picker on the 00018 Martin. Lastly he is a great steel picker and, whats more he is my friend.
Manfred, I didn't mean to hijack your thread.
