Well,
In the process of fitting the excellent quality emblem backing plate from SGN, I was interested to see engraved on the back of it "D Palmer 26.08.06".
It's nice to realise that Mr (or Ms/Mrs?)Palmer was proud enough of their work, to "sign" it.
I checked my push pulls, but there were no signatures behing the emblems!
Interesting that the brown emblem is made of metal.
I ordered the guitar mid Feb 2006, and they met their quoted delivery BTW!

Doug Palmer. I was at Emmons having a new knee-lever fitted sometime in '06 and Doug was assembling an SD-10 push/pull.
Doug appears on the Forum from time to time, and I believe he also worked for Emmons back in the 'old days'. I enjoyed chatting with him. _________________ Roger Rettig: Emmons D10, B-bender Teles and Martins - and, at last, a Gibson Super 400!

Richard, that was me. I put the date I was building the guitar and installing the Logo. I got the idea when I replaced a fret board on an early Emmons and found Buddy Emmons and Ron Lashley Sr. had both scratched their names on the neck. Do you like the guitar?
