I recently moved into an apartment after a lifetime of living in houses. Deciding that being a good neighbor doesn't have to be mutually exclusive with playing the steel, I looked around for ways to practice where I could play into headphones and mix an input from iTunes on the computer. By sheer luck I found a Goodrich volume pedal with attached (Goodrich) headphone pre-amp for sale on the Forum and bought it. Works like a charm! Takes up essentially no space, has reasonable headphone tone, and has a (tape) input that allows play-along practicing. A web search for Goodrich products doesn't turn up a trace of this as a current product. If anyone knows different, please respond to this post so anyone who might be interested could see where to get them. Thanks.

I just plug into my Tascam CD-GT1 and use headphones to play along with the CD. (mp3 version exists, as well) If you have the patience, you can set up a pleasing effect sound, too. I think there are lots of similar devices that are made for regular guitarists.

Looking back over my old Goodrich brochures that I've picked up over the years in St Louis, I don't see anything like that listed. I would suspect it's a custom built or modified pedal.

The Goodrich L10K will do this Jack, so will most any 9VDC powered stomp box.

First time I've tried to post photos... hope it works. Based on the labeling on the bottom of the pedal seems like the headphone feature was a factory deal, but I yield to the expertise of students of all things Goodrich, which I'm not.
