Here is a web site that looks like it might benefit those like to tinker, modify, experiment with ideas regarding PSG. I know when I was building my little lap steels people were always asking where to get this or that.

Sonny - I've been purchasing from onlinemetals.com for over a year now. The thing that I feel is unique about their sales methods is that you can buy the materials you want without buying a complete length of that size. They sell everything by the measured foot, and also offer "random" lengths at a reduced price. They just recently opened a warehouse in Ohio, so their delivery times have been drastically reduced.

Paul, If it hadn't been for the huge UPS shipping fees, I would have done all my metal purchases with Online Metals. But since I live across the border, I had to find a local supplier.

Bent - I'm familiar with the huge UPS fees when going across the Canadian border. When I was still making HO scale kits, I made the mistake of sending them to the customer (I think in Alberta)via UPS. YIKES!!! The UPS fee was more than the kits!!! I switched to the Postal Service and the fees were much lower. But I don't think Online.com ships by Postal Service.
