could some one give me some help on this?it is an older goodrich 120,instead of having the standard type plugs/jacks,it has the black square type jacks,some of the poles are loose i;mgetting a dead short.please note which is the hot poles and which are ground poles,and how to connect it all together,with these square black jacks,i can;t tell whot hot or gound,Many thanks,Ray White,Email me at (steelmanplayer@yahoo.com).......also the 3 plugs on the pot,which is hot, which is ground........

I don't recall Goodrich ever using those types of jacks. They always used the "open" Switchcraft on everything I've seen or worked on.

This might help you figure out the wiring.

I just changed the volume pot in my Goodrich 120 yesterday and to my surprise the ¼” jacks were those square black plastic. I would have never thought they used them either.

Raymond if it would help I can take some pictures of the inside of my G120 and show you the wiring.
I doubt I will do it tonight but if you like I can do that for you.
