Just got tickets about an hour ago for her concert at Memorial Auditorium on campus at Ohio University. It's pretty rare that we get to see someone like this here in Athens, Ohio. Lucked out and got 2 tickets 8 rows back. Looking forward to a great show, I think Randy Beavers is still playing steel for her. More to follow after the show. |

In my opinion Lee Ann is the best of the big time female Country artists....I'm sure Randy is still with her as I haven't heard otherwise. I'll bet they will put on a super show. |

Awsome!!!! I think and yes in my opinion , Leann Womack , is one of the all time truely talented singers in country music. I've heard her sing live and she was super. She's only one of a very small group who really has the gift.
Have a great time and give us an update after the show.

Now, let me think about this, one ticket would be for Walter and one for Karen. I hope Greg has back stage passes. Greg use to set me in the side stage area at Renfro, Man best seat in the house.
Hope you have fun Walter, I'm sure it will be a great concert

Hello Wayne, good to see your post. I called Greg but he already had another commitment so just us. The first time I had seen Randy since one of the June Jams in Tn, doing a great job too. I know I am getting old but the volume was pretty hot overall. That little gal isn't bigger than a minute, where does all that voice come from.
We waited around for a little while until the theatre started to thin out but everyone ran to the front of the stage area to wait for Leeann to get an autograph so no way to get through to say Hi to Randy. I saw a friend there that works for the P.D. she said Lee Ann was playing in Ada, Ohio tonight.
It was a nice evening for us, parked right in front of the auditorium, walked a couple of blocks uptown and had dinner, then the show. It also made us realize how much we miss going to Renfro Valley, its been a year since I was down for some shows. It will be next season before we can get back down there. |
