Had the opportunity to hear Robbie with Gene this past Friday and what a treat.. Gene was in fine form and Robbie was a treat to listen to. Got to visit with him as well as some local steelers right after the show and it was a blast to talk steel with other steelers. Robbie really had that Emmons sounding great and played some nice, tasty licks all night.
Thanks Robbie for coming down to see us here in the Florida panhandle..
My gear will be up for sale next week!!!..

I met Robbie last month. A super nice guy and player and he had the Emmons smoking there. Of course Gene sang his rear end off. What a show.

Not only is Robbie a good player, he is a good guy. I have worked with him on the Show that Roy does in Kirbyville Texas. He can play and sing as well. We who know him are extremely proud of his accomplishments.

What I like about Robbie besides his great steel playing is, he wears his mustache with the ends curled up so he's always got that Buddy Emmons looking smile. Nice trick Robbie Smile.
