Well after playing through a friends Fender Twin Reverb, I've decided I need one. Looking for a early 70"s Silverface model. I'm a little short on money right now but I have a few other amps I'd like to trade if anyone would be willing too. Thanks everyone!! _________________ "Hotrod"

Austin,
I have two Fender Twin Reverbs. One is around a '74 with the Master Volume. Ken Fox set the amp up. Channel 1 is biased for steel. Channel 2 is biased for Tele. Reverb is active on both channels. I have a 15" JBL K-130 in the cab. It does have casters and a vinyl cover. I also have one that is around '68-'69 model. It has a JBL D-130F in it. Ken has not worked on this amp. It does have a couple of pots that are scratchy, but they can be cleaned, or replaced. Personally, this is the better steel amp; probably something to do with the D-130F and the "closer to" Black Face circuitry.
I might be up for some sort of trade. Let me know if you have interest. I have photos of the '74 and can get photos of the other and I'll need to know what you have to trade. Thanks, Tim |
