The first 'Hawaiian'player I heard was Dutchman Wout Steenhuis who lived here in England was the first 'Hawaiian' player I heard and made many multi-tracked albums in the 60's and 70's, playing most of the instruments himself. I haven't been able to find out which tuning he used - does anybody know?
