I just purchased this unit from a forum member and I cant figure out how to get the stero effect out of it. I have my steel to the Hilton pedal, then to the imput of the pro-fex and then out to my imput of my Nashville 1000. It works, but I cannot figure out how to get the stereo effect from the pro-fex or can I with this set up? Any help with how to dial it in would be deeply appreciated, thanks. |

Jack...The Profex is a preamp as well as an effects unit, so to utilize this feature it should be run into the "power amp in" input on your Nashville thus bypassing the preamp section of your amp. In order to achieve an actual stereo effect however, to the best of my knowledge you will need to use this unit with either two separate combo amps or a stereo power amp and two speaker cabs. |

Jack,
I think David's right - you'll need two amp channels....either a stereo amp or two separate amps (one for left, one for right). Also, I think to get the stereo effect, you have to be going through one of the stereo patches in the Profex. For example, the "Jeff #2" patch will be the same in left and right channels, but the stereo patches (labeled so, if I remember right) that will provide output differences from the left and right side. Good luck. _________________ Regards, Mike "Web" Sparks
