Can somebody post it here to copy? I looked at the tunings page here and was surprised to not see it there. The E tuning and pedal changes is all I need. The other tuning doesn't matter.

Here is Mooney's setup in his own handwriting. Don't forget that his E9 setup was on the front neck.

I believe Adam meant rear neck for E9 tuning.

No. He meant FRONT neck, and that is correct.

Apparently pedal 2 is not used. I've had a copy of the same Mooney Tunes, that is shown above, for many years, and it is left blank, also.

When did Ralph move his E-9 tuning to the front neck? He has in the past favored the rear neck and tuned the front neck to a sort of modified dobro tuning.

I think Bill and Adam are just are referring to the front neck in a different way than you are, David. Mooney plays E9 on the neck closest to him, which is the front neck to him, I suppose, but the rear neck to the audience.

Yes. Moon said he wanted to keep his eyes on the pedals, and couldn't do so if playing on the far-away neck.

Thanks, that clears things up. Most players that I know refer to the E-9 neck as front and C6 as rear.
