I have two pedal steel guitars that need some significant restorative work. One is a Sho-Bud Maverick. Has been in storage for a good while..has surface rust on metal parts/hardware.The changer mechanism is not "frozen" but an overall clean/lube job is in order. It is basically all there(pedal rods should be replaced).Has the walnut burl covering and includes a case in reasonable condition.
The other piece is truly "vintage" It is a Fender 1000 D-8 pedal steel with metal frame, sunburst finish wood body.It appears to have three functional pedals, but has a total of nine. This will need a significant number of parts in order to fully restore, you guys that are into this kind of work should know what it will take.It has two light brown cases, one for the guitar, the other for pedal rack, legs, and rods. I would prefer to talk with any one interested in either project to e-mail or call me at 615-633-7361(weekdays). We can go from there. Thanks for looking. Regards, RK
