The chord, in that progression, would be a B maj7, to my ears. |
You can't have a Bmaj7 without an A# note. |
Bob,
I respect what you have done for the promotion of the steel guitar. My bad. I was lowering the 3rd tone. In that case it could be a C-6, F9, Eb b5, A b5, G9#5, among others.

nope I do not disagree
You are correct - I sometimes that correct names are great but also sometimes people play what sounds good rather than figuring out the Name of the cord.
I just wonder if all notes are genuine or some are just trying to make something up
I am not questing your cord name.
I just should have stayed out of this one.

I agree with b0b when he agreed with me. This means everybody else disagreed with bob and I about the B chord (that has a tritone substitution as an F chord depending on what the bass player plays.)
Everybody cancel golf tomorrow and memorize this page... http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/printview.php?t=164044&start=0
There will be a pop quiz! |

I believe that it works and functions a a tri-tone substitute. _________________ '10 Williams 700 Series SD10 4+5/ '71 Emmons S-10 3+4/ '73 Emmons D-10 8+4/ GK MB 200/ Custom Tommy Huff Cabinets/ Webb 614-E/ Steelseat.com Pak-a-seat/ Magnatone and Fender lap steels/ Cobra Coil bars & Strings/ pod 2.0/ Peterson Tuners/Goodrich V.P./ Boss RV5/Teles and Martins
